Compatibility Appendix

RadBuild 0.2.2-beta.1 keeps compatibility commands for existing projects while the main documentation focuses on schema v2 graph builds.

Preserved Commands

• build_vivado
• sim_vivado
• synth_vivado
• build_litex
• build_petalinux
• radsetup

Migration

Legacy project files can be migrated into schema v2:

radbuild project migrate --settings settings.json

Migration writes settings.json.bak before replacing the file.

When To Use This Appendix

Use these commands for existing projects that have not moved to graph-native schema v2 builds yet. New documentation and examples should use radbuild project, radbuild graph, radbuild generate, and radbuild build.
